Exploring an Abandoned Fire Lookout in Deep Winter
Today, I'm setting off into the Canadian backcountry, searching for an old, abandoned alpine shelter, climbing a windswept mountain, and riding some seriously deep powder.

yell it way louder and wait a few seconds before you throw it. this is just irresponsible lol
You have to trust both...
I think its less that i trust one piece of equipment nore than another, but i definitely trust the rocks more than the ice
Sometimes when its been sitting in the sun... Wowowowow so you're saying that thing aint gonna stop you from going down?
I dont trust any because I’m not climbing a mountain like this so neither
What do you do if they’re all loose?
what if the ice brakes you dead and the cam cracks ar not that good so i good
How do you get off do you just climb back down?
Test it
Cam
neither dawg i’m on the ground
So.. If you take too much time they do not work anymore?!
No, that's ice.
In the first shot, I thought you just positioned the camera sideways and you were standing on an asphalt driveway.
People are fucking stupid
What happend to that guy that junped down?
neither by jibbity jeebus
You're going to bring the snow worms
That is 100 times more annoying and time consuming that I imagined
now just give people time to react lol
It's good for k2?
Do you ever have to sharpen them?
Id trust it but your mom shouldn't
I would trust a parachute

We're getting some contradictory statements over here
I'd trust my common sense to not get myself in a situation where I might need any of these.
Number 2 100% the cam looks like it's going to slip
I would trust the ice screw more because i am way too stupid to even hold a cam correctly let alone place it
I’d trust a good cam placement more, but ice screws are still solid af
How do you get the rope back?
Why would you ever do any of these 😭
As someone who thinks the best thing about mountain climbing is that you don't have to do it, I'd say none of them
Sometimes they just pull right out?!
yall just encountered mori buntarou btw
Id trust the ice one ANY day
Bro there is no way you haven’t fallen in a cam yet. I fell on a cam the first time I led a trad route, it held great too
I, an experienced climber who has fallen with cams and was caught safely told my first time climber friend "this is a cam, it will probably catch you if you fall but there is a chance it wont." You wouldnt belive how carefully she took each move
Him: "If they have been in the sun for too long, sometimes they pull right out" *Me imagining what would happen if I fell* 😭😭😵😵💫🫠
2700lbs=1224kg
Ice screw by far i dont trust cams very much
I don't know why, but this video made my ADHD go insane! (In a happy way) ❤
This kinda happened to me and my friend where we heard someone else on are walkie talkies and they wouldn't talk they would only communicate with beeps. Instead of being told who it was we never found out who was on the other end
This don’t even look fun
My number one rule is to not climb things higher than the average tree
i dont climb, but ima need to buy that first one
How do you get those back? Or do you?
And how do you get your cams back?
Hey i have a question how do you get your cams back?
